Ghosts of August, Broken Doll

STORYLINE: Her camera and photos confiscated, the schoolgirl left the spirit world empty-handed. Or so she thought. She began to see things: a shadow darted before her, a bright glowing orb in the corner of the room. She was already on edge as she walked home.  She looked up and saw someone walking precipitous along the edge of town's ancient tower wall. The figure appeared ridged or drunk. Then it suddenly slipped and fell. 

Nice things for Elegant Lolitas to enjoy this month! The new release from Rokumeikan, Attempted Suicide Doll, comes with shirt top, collar, bandages for the arms, skirt, underskirt, checkered stockings, hat, and a parasol with pose. The black and white textures with with stripes is really striking, and I love the nicely textured parasol. The creepy cool forked tongue is by DownDownDown. Touch it and you can change the color to green, mint, blue, black, white, pink and red. It comes with materials for that extra slimly look. lol. The tongue is unrigged mesh so you scale it and move it around, no problem.

STORYLINE: Horrified, the schoolgirl screamed and ran toward the person who fell only to discover it wasn’t a person at all, it was a shattered doll. As it’s head rocked gently to a stop, suddenly a forked tongue flicked out of it’s mouth. Then the doll faded away as if nothing had been there at all. The cycle began again a few moments later when it reappeared on the tower wall. The frightened schoolgirl wondered what kind of evil the doll had absorbed.

RMK Halloween: Pumpkin Ghost

STORYLINE:  Are you a human? What are you doing here! This is the ghost-side of RMK Gothic. 

When you first land at RMK Halloween, you are in spooky forest. Follow the path to Jack the Pumpkin Ghost. There you will receive your own free pumpkin ghost outfit, and a game hud. If you wish, you can change to cute the low-lag pumpkin ghost outfit in the theme of the event. The outfit is meant to trick to spirits into thinking you are one them. Once you are ready to begin, wear your game HUD, and continue down the path to the doorway.

RMK Halloween: Nosferatu

STORYLINE: As you walk through RMK Gothic on your way to buy items for a Halloween party, you begin to feel something is not quite right. Trick-or-Trickers wandering the sim have very convincing Halloween costumes. You wonder if those are really costumes, and that vampire looking couple..., they aren't really drinking blood, right?

RMK Halloween has begun! Your challenge in the newest RMK quest game is to make right sweet treat for the right ghost. Ingredients to cook rain down from the sky. Try to combine three of them to create a dessert. Once you have successfully baked a treat, find the ghost that loves your cooking, (even if you made toxic candy!) Stumped? Ask the pumpkins, ghosts, and skulls around the sim for clues. Sometimes they drop hints, other times they say funny things. Your efforts will be richly rewarded with tickets you can exchange for excellent prizes from 23 designers from RMK Gothic! Baroque Style 2013

Marie Antoinette lives again and enjoys a nice live performance at RMK Gothic.

This lovely gown by WTG comes in two styles: in dark textures with a color change hud, and a light version. Included are stockings and undergarments. Captured Butterfly

STORYLINE: She spent her charmed life like a butterfly, flitting gently from one nightclub to next. She was a beautiful songstress with the voice of an angel. She was never for want of money or love. She seemed to have the best luck. That is, until one stormy night she stepped into the Peacock Hotel never to be seen again. No one knows what happened that night. She is presumed dead, but her body was never found. Even today on dark stormy nights, the ghosty voice of this captured butterfly can be heard once again echoing in the halls.

Bunny in Cherry Dress Suit for Boys

The White Rabbit is back and showing you the new cherry linen and lace version of the Dress Suit for Boys from Frozen Night at RMK Gothic. The suit also comes in colors brown, green, red, purple, white, black, and blue. Included is a male shape on the female base, but for the image above I used my own male shape with dial settings adjusted to body fat 0, and leg muscle between 35-40. The cool garter socks by *AAA* are handy for all fashionable dandies. Garter socks come in 3 styles and is only 15L.

Movie Poster: Windlight in the Garden of Good and Evil

Some of you may or may not know about a true crime novel Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil.  The story investigates a murder in the Savannah, Georgia. I love the book cover and movie poster that feature the famous statue "Bird Girl" from the Bonaventure Cemetery. I went to Savanna just to see it, but sadly it had been moved. *hangs head* ... I had many ideas for the Movie Poster meme, but being Southern Gothic myself, this suits me pretty well. lol.

I am wearing new long mesh hoody by AIR which comes with an ornate gold and silver pin. Hoody comes in 3 colors, beige, black, and blue. There is also girl version available.

STORYLINE:  Little Red Hood was a happy girl who she loved to cook. She experimented with new spices and exotic vegetables to her grandmother's delight. Tuesday night was their special time together. Little Red Hood looked forward to their meeting all week. She was especially proud of her newest creation, it was so delicious! She was skipping and humming a happy tune when tragedy struck.

She tried to keep the Deathhead moths from landing on her, but it was too late. Kaiser scoffed, "There is no such thing as a spontaneous case of Dark. Dark you are, and dark you will stay. Welcome to Cursed."

Ha ha fun! Little Red is now Little Black! The basket now has bones, a skull, brains, and other toxic looking things. I love it! So twisted.

World Goth Fair: A Storm is Coming....

STORYLINE: As a Deathhead Scout, my only job is to radio in when I spot forbidden acts of darkness. It's the Deathhead Hunters that swoop in and take out the trash. They really enjoy their job too. There are hardly any Darks left among the human population in 2023. But despite this, the little dears are restless. The so-callled "Bats" have left the tower on their self-appointed holiday, World Goth Day. I better keep a sharp eye out for troublemakers!

The headphones I am wearing are by Down Down Down and come with a color change hud so you wear them with all kinds of outfits, they are super cool and fun to experiment with different colors!

Vistors to RMK Castle sometimes marvel at how well it is maintained when a cleaning staff is never seen. The secret is the hardworking Bunny Maids. Occasionally, a shy Bunny Maid will be spotted, and like a pale ghost she quickly disappears leaving you to wonder if you had imagined the lovely delicate creature, or not.
